Our Classes

At Presbyterian Preschool we believe that a child's learning experience is a child's preschool learning experience is a determining factor in developing your child's first mental attitudes about education. We strive to make learning a fun, pleasant, confidence-building experience for your child.

Pre-School and Pre-K

For our Pre-School and Pre-K children, we combine a variety of educational methods to help meet your child's needs. We primarily us a Montessori-based learning center approach with methods coming from our research of preschool education. This means that your children will learn in center supervised by teachers, where children can  progress at their individual level both socially and academically. This also helps children develop self-confidence, independence, and creativity.

Kindergarten Class

Our Kindergarten class is taken to another classroom, the "Red Door." The purpose for this is for more teacher-directed learning as opposed to student-directed learning center approach in the Preschool Classroom. We feel this is needed to help students make the transition to a more structured environment to get them ready for the first grade.
